I’m a big Joe Rogan fan. When I first heard he had a podcast I first thought, “Why would anyone listen to that meathead from Fear Factor and the UFC.” Then I listened to his interview with Lance Armstrong and figured out that he was actually quite intellectual and a good critical thinker.  I’ve been a fan ever since.

I also think Twitter is ruining the world.  It’s definitely helping steer our society to higher levels of uncivil discourse, rewards mob mentality that is ruining people’s lives and in some cases causing violence.  So, I was eager to listen to Rogan’s podcast when he interviewed Jack Dorsey, the founder and CEO of Twitter.  If you have a couple of hours to kill or are bored at work, here is the episode:

There was a lot of blow back on Rogan for his lack of any difficult questions directed at Dorsey.  Rogan even addressed it in a Tweet, ironically:

This past week Rogan had on Tim Pool, who is a left-leaning Internet-based journalist, that had a lot to say about Twitter, Dorsey and how Rogan handled the podcast.  He makes the same point that I’ve been making about Twitter, mainly that it’s not an anti-Right Wing platform, but a platform that caters is the elite in society, mainly Hollywood, sports and journalism.  Since most of the elite in those areas tend to be left-leaning, it makes it look like Twitter screws with Conservatives.

Below is the podcast with Pool, again it’s worth your time if you are interested in this stuff.  He makes lot of good points and does a good job at making arguments devoid of a political bent.  Enjoy.
